The guest soloist this summer is Baritone Star and NYBB alumni, Katrina Marzella. Music tutors include Tom Hutchinson and Richard Marshall (cornets) Zoe Hancock (flugels), Owen Farr (horns) Katrina Marzella (euphoniums and baritones), Paul Kiernan (trombones), Matthew Routley and Joseph Cook (basses) and Matthew Rigg (percussion).

The programme that Professor Nicholas Childs has chosen for this year’s band combines a real mix of contemporary and traditional original brass band music, as well as a few classic transcriptions. It also features the World Premiere performance of Jonathan Bates’ Repton Fantasy.
