David Childs - Editor of BBW, international euphonium soloist and educator

David is young, vibrant, and one of the finest brass musicians of his generation. As an international soloist, he has appeared with leading orchestras and festivals, given high profile solo performances and regularly records as a solo artist for radio, television and commercial disc.

He is a Buffet Crampon Besson Artist and in 2018 was appointed Professor of Euphonium at the University of North Texas.

David’s international profile brings him into close, regular contact with BBW’s audience, and leads the magazine’s strong hard copy and social media presence to new vistas.
