Brass Band World was founded thirty years ago by the late Robert Mullholland and is now part of Kapitol Media, owned by Managing and Editorial Director - Nicola Bland, and Finance Director - Philip Morris.

From the first edition published in February 1991, quality has been the hallmark of Brass Band World; without doubt a contributing factor to its enviable reputation as one of the leading magazines of its kind in the worldwide market today. Written by the brass world’s top players, educators, conductors, and journalists, Brass Band World continues to lead the way with interviews, lively debate, reviews, and contest coverage featured in every one of its ten 56 page editions published throughout each year.

BBW Digital represents our latest innovation providing a paperless subscription to Brass Band World magazine, and today we’re proud to welcome you to our new website. Here you’ll find an ever-growing reviews section, the latest brass band news, and excerpts from our monthly features. In addition the easy to use subscription page provides the opportunity to subscribe securely online to our hard copy magazine and BBW Digital, wherever you are in the world.
