Eight Days a Week - The Beatles

Hendrik de Boer provides a memorable new arrangement of the Beatles’s classic Eight Days a Week.
The catchy tune is skilfully passed around the different band sections and textural changes hold the listener’s attention through the repeated sections. Importantly for such a popular song, this arrangement should be accessible to all band levels and provide no serious technical hurdles, although do be aware that there are three percussion parts.

Whilst such pieces may seem somewhat inconsequential, the importance of an easily recognisable tune should not be undervalued. The cheery swing charm of Eight Days A Week will likely win over audiences with ease and provide light relief to any concert programme.
