Primary Brass televised on ‘Melody’

The highly popular Cbeebies ‘Melody’ is a series which introduces children to the different families of instruments found within the orchestra. The programme features a little blind girl, Melody, who meets and listens to each of the various ensembles. Last month the episode introducing the brass section featured the primary aged brass group, ‘Brass Attack’ from the Watford School of Music directed by Paul Fisher. Speaking about the experience Paul said, “It's a sweet little programme and the children in this episode had an incredible experience, and hopefully will encourage others to take up brass playing!”
