Hayes Music gets bigger and better
Hayes Music has just relocated to bigger premises, bringing even more instrument brands and genres to its customers
Southampton-based retailer, Hayes Music, recently moved to larger premises, doubling the floor space of its showroom to provide even greater variety of merchandise, along with a purpose-built piano and percussion showroom at ground-floor level.
In-store, customers can discover the extensive range of Centre Stage Percussion, from timpani to marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, tom toms, gongs and tubular bells. Beginners and experts alike can also explore the Yamaha range of acoustic pianos, digital pianos and electronic keyboards.
“There’s plenty of space for customers to try out instruments in peace and the variety of instruments on offer means that they can make a real comparison before buying,” said Hayes Music’s MD, Richard Boler.
He continued: “We pride ourselves on offering as many brands as possible and we never push any particular brand, leaving the customer to make their own choice. That’s why we have a database of over 9,000 satisfied customers and have become a destination for musicians of all genres.”
Richard added: “The Yamaha piano range is so extensive and we stock everything from a £600 digital piano through to a £25,000 grand acoustic, including the fantastic clavinovas. I’m totally knocked out by Yamaha’s piano technology - it is amazing and really appeals to me as a retailer.”
Showroom Manager, Henry Boler - an accomplished percussionist, also commented: “I have tried all the Centre Stage equipment, and am really impressed by the sound and quality across the range, which retails at an affordable price point for brass bands.”
In the brass world, Hayes Music continues to offer Instrument brands including Bach, Besson, Conn, Eclipse, Odyssey, John Packer, Smith-Watkins, Sterling and Yamaha, as well specialised accessories from Torpedo, Warburton, Soundwear, K&G, Wallace and more.
