Golden year at Chetham’s

Chetham’s students can reflect on an exciting year of musical study, ranging from master classes with the world’s leading brass instrumental exponents to playing in the garden of the late Sir William Walton on the Island of Ischia, in the Bay of Naples…

Students at the UK’s largest specialist music school, based in the heart of Manchester, have enjoyed master classes with leading professional players including trumpeters Allen Vizzutti and Gerard Presencer; trombonists Mark Templeton and alumnus Peter Moore; and Head of Percussion at the Royal Northern College of Music - Simone Rebello. The master class series continues next year, beginning in November with a visit from trumpeter, Huw Morgan.
