New education partnership for Brass Bands England

The Symphonic Brass of London (pictured here) is delighted to announce its first Education Partner, Brass Bands England, following the formation of its new Education Department

SBoL Head of Education, Martin Heartfield, commented: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Brass Band England, looking at developing more opportunities for young people to engage in playing brass instruments through sustainable projects across the country.”

Darren Lea, Liaison Officer, BBE, also commented: “Brass Bands England is very pleased to be connecting with Symphonic Brass of London to create new possibilities for young brass players throughout the country to take part in exciting music projects where anyone can be part of the fun.

“The BBE team is constantly looking at strengthening links between brass bands and new opportunities, especially for young people to get involved with brass music making.”
