Four figure cheque for Smithills

The Mayor of Bolton Presents A Cheque To Smithills Senior Brass Band

On the morning of Thursday May 12th, the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Carole Swarbrick, presented a four figure cheque from her year in office to Musical Director Chris Wormald and leading Smithills School Senior Brass Band members in her town hall parlour as a thank you for all of the outstanding concerts Smithills gave in the town during her year of office. 

Smithills once again sold out the 1,200 seat Victoria Hall on all three occasions that they have played at Bolton's largest concert hall this year in addition to the many concerts the Senior Brass Band gave in venues all over the town and abroad at Disneyland Paris.
