‘Fifty’ not out for Tewkesbury Town
Tewkesbury Town Band has been celebrating its 50th Birthday throughout the festive period by enjoying a glass or two of a special ale from The Tewkesbury Brewing Company. The fantastic 5% Golden Ale, appropriately name 'Fifty', was launched in October and is now available in a selection of local pubs including The Black Bear and The Cross House Tavern, where you could be served by a band member, as well as at The Nottingham Arms, The Churchdown Club, The Watson Hall and The Railway at Ripple.
The ales contains five malts and three varieties of English and American hops. Such is its popularity that in addition to the first batch of 15 casks, another 21 have been brewed to meet festive demand, with an amount also specially bottled. The 'Fifty' Golden Ale will also be featured at the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival in February, one of the bands regular bookings.
