Fairey performs at the Rivoli

The KNDS Fairey Band revealed that it had been keeping an extremely special performance ‘under wraps’. The band performed at the Rivoli Ballroom in London as part of the 40th birthday celebrations Jessie Ware. The evening also featured wedding vow renewals between the artist and her husband, Sam,

It was a star-studded event which began with a fast-paced hour that saw hit after hit being belted out by Brassique’s three singers: Emma Lindars, Portia Emare and David Albury. MC Chris Fitchew worked the crowd into a frenzy and also introduced the Vow renewal moment between Jessie and her husband of 10 years, led by comedian Alan Carr and framed by the wonderous vocals of Ruby Murry. Tony Deluxe then got the entire Ballroom dancing to brass-tastic disco hits as everyone came together to raise the roof with the mega 33 person strong Fairey Band. All led impeccably by MD Phil Chalk on the baton.

Commenting on the experience a spokesperson from the band stated, “Last weekend, as part of the incredible Brassique project, we performed at London's iconic Rivoli Ballroom for none other than artist Jessie Ware’s birthday and wedding vow renewal to husband Sam's celebration! The night was nothing short of magical – packed with power ballads, epic disco hits, amazing vocalists, hoop artists, and even roller skaters spinning up the dance floor!”
