SWBBA Award for Ray Kingdon’s 70 years service

The South West Brass Band Association’s 76th Annual Championships took place on Saturday 2nd November 2024 at The Riviera Centre, Torquay with 23 bands taking part over 6 sections. As well as presenting trophies to the winners, SWBBA were delighted to present our much-loved and respected Chairman, Ray Kingdon, with a certificate to mark his incredible seventy year membership of South Molton Town Band.

Ray is not only a true stalwart of the band (and SWBBA), he is prolific figure in his home-town of South Molton where he and his wife Gwen are involved with all kinds of charity work. Congratulations Ray - what an achievement!
