Seasonal shift for Wainstones Cup Contest 

The Doctor Martin Wainstones Cup Contest has announced a change of date for its 2025 event.  The contest will now take place on Sunday 6th July at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium at Yarm School in Stockton upon Tees. This is instead of its traditional slot the day after the Bristish Open Championships in September. 
 
The decision to change the date follows a survey of audience members and participants. Organisers are now hoping to attract even more bands to an event that offers an extremely generous and enticing prize fund.
