Tredegar leads Brass Band Day at Wells
Welsh trail blazers Tredegar Band led a Brass Band Day earlier this month at Wells Cathedral School. The free event was open to any brass player of grade 3 standard or above and included free workshops in the morning, before concluding in fine style with an afternoon concert to a capacity crowd in Cedars Hall.
Commenting on social media, a spokesperson for the band stated, “Thank you to everyone who came to the Brass Band Day at Wells Cathedral School, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! During the morning, we worked with over 50 school children from 30 local schools before performing to a packed Cedars Hall in the afternoon - Morgan Bland - The Trombone Kid was the star of the show! We’d like to send our thanks to Besson Brass and Prozone Music for supporting the event.”
