Nationals Gala Concert
Kapitol Promotions has announced that the world-famous Black Dyke Band will be the Gala Concert Artist at next weekend's Championship Section Final, being held at London's Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 5 October
Black Dyke is the defending Champion of the "National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain", having won the title in 2023. The band is also the most recorded brass band in the world, and the most successful contesting band in history - having won the "Nationals" a record 24 times, the European Brass Band Championships 13 times, the British Open 30 times, as well as countless other victories
Conducted by Professor Nicholas Childs and presented by Stage Presenter Simone Rebello, Black Dyke will bring their unique blend of entertainment to the RAH stage for the pre-Results Ceremony Gala Concert, and the band’s programme will feature five contrasting works to showcase the band's virtuoso performers, more information on which will be included in the official Contest Programme. Admission to the Gala Concert is free-of-charge with your event ticket.
