Adjudicators announced for BIC 2024 

The prestigious Brass in Concert Championships is set to return on 16 and 17 of November 2024, with an exciting lineup of world-class adjudicators secured for both the Championship and Youth Brass in Concert competitions. Held annually at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead, this year's weekend promises to deliver yet another thrilling showcase of brass band excellence. 
 
The 2024 Brass in Concert Championship adjudicators are confirmed as follows: 
Rieks van der Velde – Quality of Performance 
Prof. Uwe Köller – Quality of Performance 
Dr Stephen Cobb – Soloists and Individual Awards 
Andrea Price – Programme Content 
Chris King – Entertainment and Presentation 
Al Booth – Entertainment and Presentation 
For the Youth Brass in Concert competition, the adjudicators will be: 
Andrea Price 
Anne Crookston 
 
Nigel Stevens, CEO of Brass in Concert, expressed his excitement for the event, saying: "We are thrilled with the exceptional calibre of musicianship that our adjudicator panel brings this year. As one of the most anticipated events in the brass band calendar, the Brass in Concert Championship attracts top bands from across the globe, each competing to impress the adjudicators in categories such as performance quality, entertainment, and innovation.
