The attractions continue on Sunday at 10am with the free 'Have a Go Brass' for youngsters and families who can come along and find out more about all things brass banding. It's a great way to introduce yourself to brass band music making thanks to the Birmingham Schools' Training Band.

At 2.00pm there is an opportunity to hear the National Childrens' Band of Great Britain for free, as they are led by Lynda Nicholson through a reprise of some of the best loved music from their recent summer residential. The band will perform in the wonderful Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space.

The weekend concludes in fine fashion with the Brass Gala Concert featuring Black Dyke and Cory Bands, conducted by Prof Nicholas Childs and Philip Harper. They will each perform individual slots before being joined by the players of the NYBBGB Childrens' Band and those from the Services for Education Youth Brass Ensemble.
