Bathgate Band to appear on BBC TV  

Bathgate Band will be making a television appearance next week. The musicians will be featured on My Kind of Town which airs at 8.30pm on Thursday on BBC Scotland (and later on BBC iPlayer).  
 
The programme sees Ian Hamilton and guide dog Major head to Bathgate in West Lothian. A town with an incredible industrial past, Bathgate is now a popular commuter area for Edinburgh. Ian helps out in an award-winning butcher’s shop and helpfully offers to do some taste-testing. He then works off the food by climbing a hill to find some Neolithic remains. Ian also investigates the town’s stunning historical theatre, some exciting young local film-makers as well as meeting the local brass band.
