Archive Volunteer Day 

You are invited to join BBE’s Brass Band Archivist on 16 September 2024 at Heritage Quay, The University of Huddersfield Archives to use your knowledge of the brass banding world to help correctly catalogue the Archive’s extensive collection of photographs. This process will make the collection  more accessible to, and easily searchable by, the general public and researchers. 
 
Some time will be spent learning about the Brass Bands Archive with a special pop-up exhibition as well as volunteers being afforded the unique opportunity to talk to the Archivist and archive staff. Refreshments will be provided. 
 
Morning session: 10:00am to 12:30pm 
Afternoon session: 1:30pm to 3:30pm
