Cory Side by Side

“Cory band welcomed three more young musicians to the bandroom last week as part of its Side by Side programme.” Daisy Holland (Youth Brass 2000, Waterbeach Brass , The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain ), Gareth Lewis (Cubbington Silver Band, Coventry and Warwickshire Youth Brass Band, The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and The National Youth Orchestra, and Connor Edwards (A W Parker Drybrook Band) took part in a rehearsal with the World famous Welsh band.

A spokesperson from Cory explained, “We were delighted to welcome three more fantastic young musicians into our bandroom last week as part of our Side-by-Side programme. The programme provides promising young brass and percussionists the opportunity to sit along side members of the band and take part in a rehearsal. Not only did they get to perform with the band, they also got to spend a bit of time running through The British Open 2024 piece, ‘The Lost Circle’ by Jan Van Der Roost.”
