3BA Win German Open
Congratulations to 3BA and MD Coursin Tuor on winning the German Open Championships. The event, supported by Besson Brass took place in Warstein-Belecke. 3BA Concert gave a stellar programme performance that included works such as: 'A Fantasy for Joy', 'Rhapsody for Trombone' and 'Aurora' by Joel Thoor Engstrom. This impressive retaention of the bi-annual title means that 3BA qualify for the 2024 European Championships in Palanga.
Commenting on social media a spokesperson for the band stated, "Thank you very much for the great applause in the competition and during our concert on what was a great weekend organised by the German Brass Band Association and the Sauerland Herbst." Congratulations are also owed to Woodshockers Brass Band led by Benjamin Markl who claimed that B Section title and Brass Band Nord conducted by Jonathan Eberstrein who were the sole entrants and winners of the C Section.
