UniBrass Seeks Fundraiser

The UniBrass Foundation is advertising for a Fundraising Development Coordinator to help grow the donation and grant income of the charity. With the support of the Backstage Trust, UniBrass is able to offer a freelancer an average of one day a week employment on a long-term basis. UniBrass has been one of the fastest growing organisations in brass banding in the last decade, having over doubled the number of engaged students. It organises the world's only inter-university brass band contest, as well as a successful summer school.

The charity is looking to recruit a freelance Fundraising Development Coordinator to work approximately 8 hours a week on a long term basis. Chair of trustees Thomas Hicken explained, "We know that this role will allow the charity to do so much more to support young brass musicians throughout the country. We also believe this is a fantastic position that will offer both professional development opportunities, and a good degree of independence, so that the right person will really see the difference they have made."
