Sydney City Wins NSW State Title

Sydney City Brass secured its position as Australia's leading elite level band by successfully defending its New South Wales State Championship title. The band built on its recent success at the Nationals by winning all three disciplines of the contest, with performances described as “outstanding” by adjudicator Mark Ford.  The band’s renditions of the hymn tune 'I Know Thou Art Mine' (Leonard Ballantyne), 'Paganini Variations' by Wilby and Peter Graham's 'Dynasty' undoubtedly helped them stand out against the competition.

The event, held at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, was live-stream broadcast by Brassbanned.com. Full results are below:
