Saddleworth Whit Friday Details
Details of the Saddleworth & Oldham District Whit Friday contests which take place on 2nd June have been announced. There is over £35,000 in prize money to be won this year courtesy of the generous financial support from private sponsorship and through Oldham Council. Competing bands are reminded that the Saddleworth Whit Friday website offers valuable information to assist them on the day. The site has details and links to all contests, a map of the area and a contact form where bands can submit their details to all the contests before the event. Anyone planning to catch the train to come along and enjoy the event into various stations should be aware that the there is a national rail strike that day.
