Entries Invited for SFoB Youth Championships

Entry forms and information for the Scottish Festival of Brass Youth Championships are now available. All brass and percussion youth bands in Scotland are invited to enter this celebrated event which will take place in Perth Concert Hall on Saturday and Sunday, 25 and 26 November. 

Information sheets for the youth championships (bands) are available here and for percussion ensembles here. Entry forms can be accessed here. Bands in the Novice, Intermediate and Development sections are to play a programme of own-choice music not exceeding 15 minutes which must include a set work as follows:

Novice Section:

‘Football Frenzy’ from Fun Factory Junior Brass Series by Alan Fernie

Intermediate Section:

‘The Chase’ from Games for Brass Band by Bruce Fraser

Development Section:

‘Summer Samba’ by Bruce Fraser.
