Scottish Youth Solo and Ensemble Championships Results
The Scottish Youth Solo and Ensemble Championships took place at the Bellshill Salvation Army last Saturday 25th March. The event was adjudicated by celebrated trombonist Brett Baker. The piano accompanist was the acclaimed Gina Baker. Over 30 soloists and 11 ensembles qualified for the finals in the various age categories. Winning instrumentalists will receive an online lesson from Brett as part of their prize. SBBA were keen to record their thanks to Creative Scotland for their support in staging the qualifying competitions and the final.
