New Book by Barber
John Barber, already known to many as a talented composer, arranger, educator and long time principal trombone player at Foden’s Band, can now add published author to his list achievements. John’s book ‘Hungry Bill!’ is described by Amazon as, “A fun rhyming read aloud picture book about Bill's musical adventure for young children”. It is the story of Hungry Bill, a tuba player whose life gets saved by his two best friends and who have an incredible adventure with the most unexpected results!
Commenting on the recent publication John explained, “I’m over the moon that ‘Hungry Bill!’ is finally out with wonderful pictures by the brilliant Rhiannon Thomas. It’s all about Bill who plays the tuba and gets hungry (after missing his mum’s apple crumble at dinner time) and things then take a turn for the worse…It’s up to his good friends Dave and Hugh to go on adventure to try and save him before it’s too late!”
