Nicholas Childs to lead Foden's

Foden's have announced that Black Dyke MD Nicholas Childs will direct the band at the forthcoming North West Regional Championship on the 28th February 2016.

Speaking about the appointment Mark Wilkinson told BBW: "Foden's are extremely pleased to announce that Professor Childs has agreed to direct Foden's at the North West Area. This will be the first time for Nicholas to conduct Foden's since he left in May 2000 to take over his current position with Black Dyke. During his time as MD of Foden's the band became National Champions in 1999 for the first time since 1958, as well as winning consecutive North West Area's in 1998,1999 and 2000, with victories also at Brass in Concert and the French Open."
