Irvine & Dreghorn retain Borders Title

Congratulations to Irvine & Dreghorn Brass on successfully defending their ‘champion band’ title at the Borders entertainment contest on the weekend. With an entry of 14 bands, each playing a 15-minute programme of own-choice music, the event was organised by the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association and staged in Hawick, in the High School, for the first time. Well done to all bands who took part, creating a fantastic day of brass music in the Borders town.
