NABBSS 2022

The North American Brass Band Summer School (NABBSS) was co-founded in 2014 by David Childs, Robert Childs and Craig Roberts – former Assistant Director of the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. Based on the highly successful summer school models well established in the United Kingdom, NABBSS takes place in the dynamic waterfront city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada – a city bestowed with the distinction of being named in the top-ten tourist destinations ‘on the rise’ globally. This year the course will take place from June 22 – July 2. 

The course fee: 0 CAD (approx.: 0 USD /£460 GBP), including single room accommodation, meals and tuition. In addition to the many opportunities to learn from the very best in tutorials and rehearsals, this year’s course includes five evening and three matinee performances at the RNSIT, a Festival performance at the Grand Parade and a special evening concert at St Matthew’s Church.
