Elbphilharmonie Hamburg looks forward to magical live performances

Last weekend saw the reopening of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg’s Plaza, the concert hall’s spectacular public viewing platform. From 2 September, the start of the new 2020/21 season, the concert hall will follow suit and will once again invite audiences to enjoy music performances in the venue.

Despite the halls of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg having not seen any concert guests for weeks, music continues to thrive in the Hanseatic city and in this stunning venue on the River Elbe. In anticipation for the new concert season in September, the world-class concert hall has released a video of the Elbphilharmonie coming to life to perform the classical piece of the ‘Sorcerer’s Apprentice’. The innovative and imaginative ‘Crazy about music: Elbphilharmonie Hamburg’ video is available to view .

The new video, which was released by the Elbphilharmonie this week to mark the start of advance ticket sales for the new season, visualises how the world-famous concert hall is longing to once again welcome audiences to a joint concert experience. The new 2020/2021 concert season: the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg’s fifth season to feature more concerts than ever. Current German government guidelines and plans will see the return of live audience concerts to Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie from the 2 September. All highlights as well as the complete concert programme of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg’s fifth season can be viewed online at www.elbphilharmonie.de
