Onyx Brass at the Barber Institute

Onyx Brass, dubbed ‘the classiest brass ensemble in Britain’ invite you to take time out of your day and spend a lunch hour enjoying a free concert at the University of Birmingham’s Barber Institute. The quintet comprising Niall Keatley- trumpet, Alan Thomas- trumpet, Andrew Sutton- horn, Amos Miller- trombone and David Gordon-Shute – tuba will present a varied and entertaining programme to delight any audience. Repertoire will include arrangements of classical works by Rameau, Bach and Shostakovich and original works by Tim Jackson, Mark Nightingale, Jason Rebello as well as a world premiere performance by Simon Dobson.


The concert will begin at 1pm on November 15th and entry is free of charge.
