Trott to inspire new generation of students

Trott to inspire new generation of studentsThe London College of Music (University of London) is thrilled to have Band of the Irish Guards euphoniumist Gareth Trott as a tutor. Gareth is himself a Welshman who began his banding in Goodwick, before moving East to the RWCMD where he studied with David Childs, joining the Band of the Irish Guards as professional musician after graduation.

Commenting on his new role he stated, "I'm keen to help the college build its profile of the instrument. I hope I can put what I've been taught and skills I've developed within my time at RWCMD under David Childs, in my Welsh brass banding roots and my time so far in the Band of the Irish Guards to good use."
