2019 National Championships of Great Britain: Section 4

Congratulations to Tewit Silver and M.D. Martin Hall on winning the Fourth Section National Brass Band Championships at The Centaur Conference Centre, Cheltenham. The band gave the superlative performance on the day of Stephen Bulla’s ‘Beecher Variations’impressing not only adjudicators Ian Brownbill, Paul Holland and Craig Roberts, but also the large crowd in attendance. Of particular note in the band’s performance was the beautiful flugel playing from Martin Tromans, who took home his own trophy for Best Instrumentalist. Redruth Town under the direction of Andrew Craze was awarded the runner-up spot with Simon Langton Brass securing third place.
