2019 National Championships of Great Britain: Section 1

Congratulations to the newly crowned First Section National Champion Band of Great Britain, Unison Kinneil. The Scottish band led by Musical Director Raymond Tennant showcased a scintillating performance of the popular ‘Endeavour’by Philip Sparke, which the adjudicating panel of Gary Davies, Howard Evans and Glyn Williams agreed was worthy of the win. Running the winners a close second, was Rainford under Dr David Thornton, whose `principal Cornet Morvern Sinclair scooped up the Best Instrumentalist Award. James Garlick led Boarshurst Silver to the third place spot.
