NYBBGB invites applicants for Post of Senior House Staff Lead

An exciting opportunity is currently available for someone who is enthusiastic, caring and has good leadership skills to apply to be the new Senior House Staff Lead for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. This position is key in supporting the Administrator in ensuring that the pastoral care of the National Youth Brass Band runs smoothly for two one week courses a year - one around Easter and the other towards the end of July/beginning of August as well as any other concerts that the band performs.

A passion and love for the National Youth Brass Band is highly desirable. The successful applicant must be able to adhere to policies - in particular to safeguarding - and support other members of the house staff in doing the same. An enhanced DBS will be necessary, together with first aid skills and up to date safeguarding training. Candidates should be certified Licensed Chaperones.

Please find a job description and person specification on the NYBBGB website and email expressions of interest and CV to The Administrator, Philip Biggs philipbiggs@bandstand.demon.co.uk by 7th April.

This Easter the NYBBGB course will be held at Harrogate Ladies’ College. Applicants are invited to visit the course between 13th -18th April or attend the open day, which is advertised on the website, on Tuesday 16th April. This will afford the opportunity for those interested in the post to find out first hand how the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain operates.
