Foden's win the 2019 North West Regional Championships 

The area contests got underway this weekend, starting in tremendous fashion at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. Congratulations go to Foden’s on winning the North West Regional Championships. Although already pre-qualified, as the reigning National Champions, the outfit from Sandbach did not rest on their laurels and produced a fantastic performance Ray Steadman-Allen’s ‘Seascapes’led to victory by Russell Gray. Also qualifying for a trip to the Royal Albert Hall in October are runners-up Leyland and third placed Pemberton Old Wigan DW.
 
Victories in the lower sections were awarded to Rainford, Bollington Brass, Valley Brass (Haydock) and Sale Brass in the First to Fourth Sections respectively. A list of the full results can be viewed below with further details to follow in the next issue of BBW.
