Foden’s educates the nation via BBC Live Lessons

On Friday 9th November a Quartet from Foden's were invited to perform on BBC 'Live Lessons'. All Live Lessons are available on the BBC website https://www.bbc.com/teach/live-lessons and are streamed online, at a set time, to classrooms across the UK. Each lesson is 30 minutes long and covers a range of topics across the primary and secondary curriculum, including music, art, literature, computing and literacy.

The programme involving Foden's was to mark the end of the First World War with a creative writing Live Lesson for primary students. Designed for 7 - 11 year olds, the Remembrance Live Lesson was hosted by BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty and CBBC's Ben Shires. The programme also featured poet Roger Stevens and Charlotte Czyzyk (historian and project manager for Lives of the First World War at Imperial War Museums).

The Foden's players performed a number of War related tunes as well as the Last Post.
