Black Dyke to open up on Handel

Yorkshire Champions Black Dyke will be giving their supporters an opportunity to hear ‘Handel in the band’ by Kenneth Downie ahead of their forthcoming appearance at the National Brass Band Championships in the Royal Albert Hall.
 
The triple Yorkshire Area Champions will be presenting their open rehearsal at Morley Town Hall at 8.00pm on Wednesday 3rd October.
 
Under the direction of Director of Music Prof. Nicholas Childs the band will be showcasing their preparations on the test-piece, ‘Handel in the band’by Kenneth Downie.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm and the rehearsal will start promptly at 8.00pm.
