Grimethorpe to feature at the Labour Conference
The World famous Grimethorpe Coliery Band are set for a very special performance next week, when they open the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool. The Conference begins on Sunday 23rdSeptember and the band will mark the commencement with a live performance at 9.45am.
It is understood that the band will perform a 30 minute set to the party members present in the Main Hall at the ACC Liverpool. A spokesperson from the band confirmed that they are “very proud to be opening the Labour Conference in Liverpool on Sunday 23rdSeptember.” The Labour Party members are equally excited to be welcoming “The World’s most famous brass band and stars of the hit movie Brassed Off” branding the appearance as a, “thoroughly entertaining show and a must for all music enthusiasts.”
