BBE travels to Birmingham

The Brass Bands England [BBE] team will be at the British Open this Saturday at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.

New CEO Kenny Crookston and Development Managers Alex Parker and Sophie Anderson are looking forward to speaking with bandspeople from their trade stand on Level 4, where they will be demonstrating BBE’s new website launched earlier this week.

If you are a current member of BBE they will be on hand to help you to get logged in, set up and fully briefed on the website’s new features, such as the members’ dashboard, vacancy and events listings, and the ‘Find a Band’ feature.

To celebrate the launch of the new website, BBE will be offering a 15% discount for bands joining by continuous Direct Debit this weekend - so be sure to go and take advantage of this great offer if you’re there. This is a fantastic deal which will allow your band to access all of the new savings and benefits BBE now offers, including significant savings on band insurance through their new partnership with Making Music, free DBS checks, support and advice and much much more!

BBE Partnership and Relationship Manager, Alex Parker said, “The British Open is one of the great occasions on the banding calendar and we are really looking forward to getting out and meeting our members face to face, as well as hopefully welcoming some new members!  Our new website is now up and running and I'm keen to help our members get the most from it.”

The team will also be giving out free BBE trolley tokens to everyone who answers a short survey.  The team want to hear about your experience of banding - the good and the bad - so they can take some inspiration, so go and have a chat with them during the day!
