Brass for Africa launches publication arm

The Brass for Africa charity has launched Brass for Africa Music Publications, with its titles available through the 4Barsrest.shop and its own website to help support its incredible work. Brass for Africa will receive 100% of all profits from the sale of the works; funds that are vital to enable the charity to fulfill its mission of transforming the lives of extremely disadvantaged children and young people in Africa through music education and life-skills training.

Brass for Africa Executive Director Jim Trott stated, "As a creative charity believing whole heartedly in the huge educational, community, social and personal development benefits of music, Brass for Africa is delighted to be able to publish original music composed especially for the charity by acclaimed brass band composers."

He added: "We are delighted to link up with 4BR in this way as they have been a great supporter of our work. The launch of Brass for Africa Music Publications is such an exciting development for the charity and we hope that other composers will now join us to help our work and make a tangible, positive change to young people living very difficult lives."

Two original works are now available in the Brass for Africa Music Publications catalogue with more original works to be added soon. They can be found in the 4BR Shop at: https://www.4barsrest.shop/at/brassforafrica/ or by visiting www.bfapublications.org
