Whitburn set for Edinburgh Festival
Scotland’s Champion band, Whitburn will be appearing at the high profile Edinburgh International Festival later this month. The concert will take place at Edinbugh’s Leith Theatre on Saturday 18th August, where Whitburn will be the guests of ‘Lau’ the renowned folk band. This will be the second time they have performed together following their appearance at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections event earlier this year.
Whitburn will perform 'Time for Outrage!' by Marco Putz, the set-work for the 2018 European Championships in Utrecht earlier this year. Commenting on the prestigious engagement Band President, David Kinross said, "The players in the band thrive on playing at events high in artistic quality. They thoroughly enjoyed performing to a knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience at Celtic Connections, and are looking forward to a similar experience at the Edinburgh International Festival."
