Garman to lead Medway 

Medway band are pleased to welcome Nicholas Garman to the role of MD at Medway Band who will be taking over from Melvin White who recently resigned due to ill health.  
  
A Medway spokesperson said, “We are looking forward to working with Nicholas to pursue the ambitions the band harbour. His experience of banding at the highest level, plus his enthusiasm and expertise, can only be a positive moving forward.” 
  
Speaking on his appointment, Nicholas said, “I am honoured to have been given this opportunity and am looking forward to the challenges ahead. Medway Band has enormous potential, being the premier band in Kent, and I am eagerly anticipating our first concert and contest appearances together.”  
  
Medway Band would like to thank Melvin White for an excellent ten years of Concert and Contests and would like to wish him a quick recovery.  
  
The Band at this exciting time would also like to invite applications from Bass and Cornet players, via their website, who are looking for a new opportunity.
