Cobb travels North for solos with Easington

Philip Cobb, Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra, will travel to the North of England later this month to perform as a guest soloist with Easington Colliery Band at Sunderland Minster.

Easington Band Manager Peter Lawson commented, "We are delighted to have secured the guest appearance of such a huge name in the music world. Philip is not only a tremendous trumpet player, having featured on many movie soundtracks, but is also a fantastically sublime cornet player from his Salvation Army background with Hendon and the International Staff Band."
