Concord Brass is the Danish National Champion
The Danish National Championships took place in Skanderborg, with four divisions of bands vying for the top prizes. In the Championship Division Concord Brass successfully defended their National title, with a convincing win over second placed Arhus Brass and third placed Lyngby-Taarbaek. The band's performances of set work Acteon by Welshman, Gareth Wood and own choice work of Fraternity found favour with the esteemed panel of adjudicators Mike Kilroy, David Thornton, John Doyle and Paul Duffy. They will now represent Denmark at the 2018 European Championships in Utrecht.
The first, second and third division titles were won by Dania Brass, Hinnerup Garden and Selandia Brass respectively.
