Wychavon Festival of Brass 2017

Following an action packed day of brass band entertainment at its best in Wychavon on Saturday, Llwdcoed Band under the expert guidance of MD Chris Turner were awarded first place by Adjudicator Dr Robert Childs. The band took home the Evesham Town Cup winner's trophy and £1,250 in prize money. Ebbw Valley Brass claimed the runner-up spot and an invitation to the 2018 British Open Spring Festival. Speaking to BBW about the event Dr. Childs said: "I had a very enjoyable day listening to some very entertaining programmes. The top 3 placed bands gave particularly fine performances, but Llwycoed were clear winners."
