North of England Area changes schedule 

The North of England Regional Brass Band Championships has announced that they have made a change to the usual running order for their 2018 Area Championship event. 

For the 2018 contest the weekend will run as follows: 
Saturday 17th March 2018: 
Fourth Section; First Section and Second Section 
Sunday 18th March 2018: 
Third Section and Championship Section. 

Regional Secretary, Tony Griffiths explained the decision: "In order to make use of maximum use of the existing booking of the Gala Theatre, we have decided to suspend the normal rotation of sections. I understand that some bands may have planned their weekend using the original rotation formula, but the new running order allows us to use our resources more effectively."
