Hazel Grove flying high with Manchester Airport
Hazel Grove make it a backing trio
In addition to sponsorship from local estate agent, Woodhall Properties, announced earlier in the summer, the band is thrilled to secure a grant from the Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund. This is the second tranche of support from the Airport, having previously helped to provide a suspend ceiling to improve acoustics in the Civic Hall where the band rehearse. This second award will fund new equipment and music to refresh their programme at events such as their 25th Anniversary concert on 18th November.
More help has come in the form of a partnership with The Grove Ale House a local Microbrewery who will be raising funds for the band for the next 12 months as their charity of the year.
“All of this financial support ensures that this local band keeps entertaining local people at its popular concerts,” said Committee Vie-Chairman and Eb bass player, Sue Goodare.
The band is next out at its slot at the annual Poynton Show on August Bank Holiday Saturday.
