Hayes Music Instrument Replacement Scheme

Hayes Music, which has an extensive musical instruments, accessories, gifts and sheet music showroom in Southampton, as well as a new general music shop in Romsey, has launched a ‘Buy one and get three free’ offer on all brass instruments.

Too good to be true? “No - the scheme really is that good” says Hayes MD, Richard Boler, adding: “There are no catches - this is a genuine offer applying to purchases made during the remainder of 2017, but may be extended. Buy one instrument and we will swap if for a new one every three years.” This should be really appealing to cash-strapped bands and individual players!

So how does it work? The Scheme applies to all new brass instruments costing over £1,000 and the replacement of the same, or an equivalent model at the same price, is free every three years until 2026. Replacements will be available on each three-year anniversary in 2020, 2023 and 2026, but must be exchanged within the agreed timeframe. So that there is no confusion, each purchaser will be allocated a Scheme Logbook, which customers must present at the time of replacement. Any damage to the instrument or instrument case, beyond normal wear and tear will be assessed, and an appropriate damage charge may be deducted from the new instrument allowance. Other terms also apply.

Alternatively, customers could upgrade to a more expensive instrument and pay only the upgrade cost. You can purchase using cash or finance, and a trade-in maybe accepted.
